Double Twelve is a private office for collectors: valuations, private sales, sourcing and finance.

I’m Jasper Dardashti, and I founded Double Twelve because I felt so much of the collector world was starting to lose its passion and focus on what people feel they should buy rather than what they want to buy. I love to learn, I love to collect, and above all, I feel privileged to deal in some of the world’s most sought-after assets and meet the genuine characters behind them.

I’ve spent the best part of a decade in this world, cutting my teeth as an early employee at Car & Classic before working on the launch of the Carhuna platform, then moving fully into private treaty sales, bespoke sourcing and asset advisory. Along the way I have built a network of collectors, workshops and purists worth going to first.

Believe it or not Double Twelve was originally set up to specialise in prewar and vintage cars: a market I felt was, and still is, being underserved by current trends, and a way to preserve the stories of some of the world’s pioneering and greatest cars. Since then we have grown, and whether it has been a homologation-special Porsche that has spent its life being wrung out on a Sunday morning, or an analogue Ferrari V12 blasting through the Alps, our job has been making sure you get to write the next chapter.

Naturally, as we have had more conversations and been taken around the world selling silly old cars, we are now growing into other assets, with sales and sourcing mandates backed by our growing data and market intelligence, and flexible credit should you need to value, source, sell, or raise money against exceptional things.

The vast majority of what we do happens away from the public eye. Everything we source, or are offered, goes to that network before it ever reaches a public listing. For the items we do bring to the open market, we reject the generic classified approach, and every one gets its story told properly, with real research and proper photography.

And if you simply want a coffee and to talk, that is fine by us too. Not everything needs to end in a transaction.

Based in London, working further than that

If you are thinking about buying, selling, or you simply want a proper view of what you own, that is a conversation worth having before anything else.
